Requirements for water droppers

The dripper is the core of the drip irrigation system and must meet the following requirements:

(1) There is a relatively low and stable flow rate within a certain pressure range, and the outlet flow rate of each dripper should be between 2 and 8 liters/hour. The flow channel of the dripper is small, the diameter is generally less than 2 mm, and the precision of the flow channel manufacturing is also very high. The small flow channel difference will have a greater impact on the discharge capacity of the dripper. At the same time, the frictional resistance of the water flow in the capillary flow reduces the water flow pressure, thereby reducing the flow rate of the end dripper. In order to ensure that the drip irrigation system has sufficient irrigation uniformity, empirically, the flow rate difference in the system is generally limited to 10% Within.

(2) Large flow cross-section In order to produce a larger pressure loss and a smaller flow rate at the dripper, the minimum size of the water flow channel cross-section varies from 0.3 to 1.0 mm. Due to the small flow channel of the dripper, it is easy to cause blockage of the flow channel. If you increase the flow channel of the dripper, you need to lengthen the flow channel. For this reason, a variety of drippers have been developed.
